Abuse Awareness Training
Little League International and Scarborough Little League consider the safety and well-being of every child to be our highest priority. Abuse Awareness Training is provided annually to all volunteers. This training equips volunteers with the knowledge and tools to recognize, prevent, and respond to situations involving potential abuse or harm to children.
This training is a commitment to protecting our children and fostering a culture of safety, respect, and accountability. This will allow children to focus on learning, growing, and enjoying the game of baseball or softball without fear or harm.
How to Complete the Training
Completing Abuse Awareness Training can be done completely online in the comfort of your home. Volunteers, if they have not previously completed online training, will register with Little League University to register for the course. This training is at no cost to our volunteers.
