Background Checks for Player Safety

In accordance with Little League International regulations, all volunteers are required to complete a safety screening background check. To facilitate this, Scarborough Little League utilizes the Little League recommended vendor JDP, a trusted screening service.  These checks are conducted free of charge for volunteers.

With SportsConnect, volunteer registration is streamlined and integrated into the same process used to enroll your child in Scarborough Little League.  Screening begins with the volunteer registration process that includes upload of identification on SportsConnect. You have the ability to upload and enter information during registration and SportsConnect securely transmits your information to Little League's screening partner JDP / Instascreen to complete the process.  

Following registration as a volunteer, you will receive an email from JDP / Instascreen to complete the process.  It is a fast and efficient process and Scarborough Little League appreciate's your attention to completing this quickly.
